    • multiple times as long as body

  • Wings

    • wingless

  • Legs

    • hind femora extend beyond the end of the abdomen (but only when they are parallel with the abdomen)
    • no tympana (hearing organs) on front tibiae
    • slender tibiae
    • tarsi 4-4-4
